The vast majority of our cases, especially medical and legal malpractice cases, are sent to us by other attorneys who do not practice in this specialty and are aware of our courtroom experience with these types of claims. We consider medical malpractice cases to be one of the most important areas of our practice.
Because of our extensive trial experience, we frequently represent the clients of other lawyers at trial in complex civil litigation. We also have handled matters for attorneys who have a matter in Philippines, but are not licensed to practice in the State. Attorneys who refer clients to us are kept informed of developments in the case and know that their clients’ interests will be protected. Customary referral arrangements are made with referring attorneys and are paid in accordance with the ethical rules.
